J.D. 1994, The College of William and Mary, Marshall-Wythe School of Law; B.A. 1991, magna cum
laude, Mankato State University. Jill concentrates her practice in Estate Administration, including
probate and trust administration; guardianships and conservatorships; adoption; banking and finance
law with a concentration in commercial lending; real estate law, with a focus on the establishment
of Common Interest Communities, Condominiums and Homeowners’ Associations; commercial leasing; and
corporate and business law.
She is a member of the I-94 West Chamber of Commerce, the St. Michael-Albertville Rotary Club, The
Minnesota Association for Guardianship & Conservatorship (MAGIC) and the state and local bar associations. Jill
volunteers her time as a judge for the Minnesota Mock Trial program, a program that gives high school
students the opportunity to explore the legal profession. Because of her commitment to her career and to
her community, Jill has been selected as a “Rising Star” by the editors of Minnesota Law and Politics, a
notable law trade publication. This award is presented to exceptional attorneys who are either under age
40 or who have been practicing 10 or fewer years. Outside of law, Jill enjoys cross-country skiing, volunteering
in the arts community, and spending time with her family.
